Help Gideon Ride: Give a Joyful 12-Year-Old the Freedom to Move

Gideon is a joyful 12-year-old who lights up every room he enters. He lives with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and DeafBlindness caused by a cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection he contracted before birth. Despite the challenges he faces every day, Gideon’s spirit is full of laughter, curiosity, and determination.

Like all kids, Gideon loves to move, explore, and be part of the action. But because of his disabilities, a typical bike isn’t an option. What is possible is an adaptive bike—specially designed to support his body and allow him to experience the thrill of riding safely.

Why Adaptive Cycling Matters

Adaptive cycling isn’t just fun—it’s freedom. For Gideon, an adaptive bike means:

Building physical strength and coordination

Gaining independence and confidence

Creating social connections with family and friends

Experiencing the pure joy of movement and play

When kids with limited mobility have access to movement, they gain opportunities that most of us take for granted. It’s not just a bike—it’s a bridge to inclusion, health, and happiness.

How You Can Help

We need to raise $7,000 to get Gideon his new set of adaptive wheels. Every contribution—big or small—moves us closer to giving him the freedom he deserves.

💛 Donate today to help Gideon ride, explore, and thrive. Together, we can make this dream a reality.
